Once again our Northland contingent did themselves proud over the weekend in a fantastic tournament of junior squash at North Shore in the NZ Junior Open - one of the highlights of the national junior squash calendar. The standard of entries was very high with no less than nine A grade boys competing as well as five A grade girls in the open divisions.
Of the 20 plus entries from our region there were some definite highpoints with some of our younger players scoring some notable victories.
