Manaia

Manaia Squash Club

The club is located within the Parua Bay Community Centre on Whangarei Heads Road near the Parua Bay Township.

Formed in 1985, when the Community Centre was built, the club boasts two excellent glass backed courts and great social facilities. We cater for all levels from beginners to experts and for all ages from Juniors to the more mature players.

We hold regular club nights between late February and late November. The club nights are Monday and Thursday with a Junior Night on Tuesdays.

The club hosts three tournaments each year, a “B-Grade and Below” tournament at the beginning of the season, a masters tournament in September and it’s popular Business House Handicap tournament in July.

Teams from the club play in Northland Squash’s inter club competitions.

Club members are able to book courts to play at all times (other than organised club nights and tournaments) and the club welcomes new players
