Black Knight series is run throughout Northland. Its great fun and a great way to improve your squash and meet lots of other enthusiastic squash players.

Eight clubs host Black Knight Series tournaments where you can accumulate points.

Every tournament you enter earns you points, which are upgraded and displayed on the website soon after the tournament..

Each tournament is worth a number of points for entering:  KeriKeri   7      Manaia     5     Wellsford     10      Mid Western 5     Maungaturoto  7     Kaitaia  10     Kamo  5     Northland 10

Once the tournament is underway, you earn 3 points for each game won, rising to 10 for a division win.

The best 5 results will give the final series placing.

To enter the series you must pay $30. For that you get a Black Knight T shirt and a chance to win a $50 lucky prize in every tournament you enter.

At the end of the season the top 10 players all get cash prizes and there are 10 or more $50 spot prizes so you can see it is well worth entering. It’s not too late to enter the 2010 series. Just email shazacraw at yahoo.co.nz  with your name and you will be included on receipt of your entry fee.

Don’t think this is just for the higher grades – past winners have included D and E graded players, and this year F, E, D and C graders are amongst the top ten.
